Worth Watching - August 29: A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints
August 29, 2006
by Alex Billington

There's just something about this movie: A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints… It's all in the trailer. It has a perfect progression and amazingly well-suited music (unlike The Departed's trailer). It just builds to this climax at the end, with Robert Downey Jr. saying "In the end, I left everything, and everyone. But no one, no one, has ever left me." Chilling and riveting, in a Fight Club way. Although this is an indie release where barely any us will actually get to see it in theaters, this is a trailer at least worth watching. Check it out for yourself. I'd hope you'd agree with me that these are the types of movies that need to get greater recognition falling in-line with the lack of originality these days.
