Transporter 3 Possible Down The Road
August 31, 2006
by Alex Billington
ComingSoon.net posted an interview today with Crank star Jason Statham. One of the questions they asked about was whether or not another Transporter movie would be happening.
CS: Have you and Luc Besson talked at all about doing another "Transporter" movie?
Statham: Yes, we have talked about it, and we've talked about it. (laughs) I mean, people like the "Transporter" movies. I get a lot of good feedback from it. We don't want to do one next week, but give us a bit of time and we'll stick another one in the bag. I'd like to and he said he would, too.
From the sound of it, they seem like they'll put together another one a few years down the road. It'll be some time as they each pursue other projects first, but it's looking like a possibility. Honestly, the Transporter series seems like something they can easily throw together, almost like a straight-to-DVD type movie. The first Transporter was in 2002, the second one in 2005, maybe a third in 2008 or 2009. In addition, the director of the first two, Louis Leterrier, is directing the new Hulk "sequel" titled The Incredible Hulk, slated for released in 2008.

You had better FREAKING make a transporter 3 movie!!! But they don't need any sex scenes like Crank and Jason Stantham should be in better shape than he was in Crank! And the movei absolutely NEEDS to be even more action packed!!!

The 2nd Transporter was basically the worse movie ever made. That part in the parking lot where he shoots the helicopter and it blows up looks like it was made in 1979 for a star wars movie. I actually lol'd in the theatre it was so dumb. I like Statham but please, make a better movie.

The Transporter movies are the best!!! I agree dat they do need to put more action in 'em especially the fights scenes, they need to be longer! This time there should be another transporter like Frank! And the rest writes itself.

I enjoyed the movies Transporter 1 and Transporter 2…Both movies were great, but I think the first one was better. In Transporter 3 the producers will have to invent a different story plot, more action scenes, and of course beautiful women. The story should start with Frank on an airplain on his way to France to visit the inspector.Frank discovers that there are terrist aboard the plain…Frank swings into action…and the film takes off from there…

I defentley think there should be a third, although transporter2 wasn't as good as the second it was
still fantastic. I don't have a clue what the storyline could be but I know it wil be good. I would love
to see more action/stunts and of course more beutiful women.

Yes, please make a Transporter 3… and make sure Jason Statham gets that darn shirt off! I can supply some ideas if the writers are stumped.
