Cobalt-60 Getting Big Screen Adaptation from Zack Snyder
October 25, 2006
by Alex Billington

Bloody Disgusting posted news today that Universal Pictures has secured the rights for the adaptation of the cult comic book Cobalt-60 and has Zack Snyder as director and a producer. The comic is about:
Taking place in a postapocalyptic world inhabited by mutants and fantastical creatures, the story follows the masked hero Cobalt 60, who embarks on a quest to avenge his parents, who were murdered by the evil Strontium 90.
Never heard of it, but it's big enough news to make the rounds on the internet. And maybe with its rather interesting story and direction from the soon-to-be comic book adaptation master (for both 300 and Watchmen) Zack Snyder, it may have hope. Anyone know more in-depth details about the story and how it might play out on screen?
