Today, I Truly Love Movies
November 3, 2006
by Alex Billington
This is one of those rare days where I've sat through some just incredible movies that as I think back on every minute passed so far on this Friday, I know one thing is certain: today, I truly love movies. After watching the not-so-great Fast Food Nation last night, today I gladly caught early press screenings of Breaking and Entering and A Good Year, and am soon about to head out to see Borat for a 3rd time. Although I'm not really allowed to talk much about these two movies, my reaction and the feeling that they have imposed on me has been rather outstanding.
A Good Year is not necessarily one of the year's best films, but somehow the emotions it brought out and just everything within it, and Breaking and Entering as well, was great filmmaking that truly made me love the cinema. I hope you look forward to my reviews of all these upcoming movies and plenty more to come this month, and I hope you are enjoying all my staff and I have to offer here on FirstShowing.net!
