Keira Knightley Says No More Pirates - Spoiler Speculation
November 11, 2006
by Alex Billington
After the upcoming trilogy conclusion, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, star Keira Knightley has decided she will no longer return for additional sequels. The UK Daily Mail caught up with Knightley as she finished shooting the 3rd Pirates film and discovered that she said she told producers she would no longer return after this one. She has also just finished another film called Atonement directed by Joe Wright.
"I've been playing this girl since I was 17," Keira told me on the set of Atonement.
"I'm 21 now and I'm onto very different things, but it's fun to try to invest Elizabeth with some rebellious spirit.
"But what I'm doing in Atonement is very different. I mean, she is a grown-up woman!"
Spoiler Speculation: They may just have to kill her off in this upcoming third one. Whether she's swallowed by the Kraken or otherwise killed in some epic swordfight, she'll go down with flames (and tears). That's our speculation - anyone else agree?

Nah, they'll probably just let Will and Elizabeth live happily ever after. If Will goes on an adventure in a sequel she'll just stay home off camera taking care of the kids. It's a Disney movie after all.
