Worth Watching - November 16: Zodiac Trailer in Quicktime

David Fincher's next movie, Zodiac (previously called The Chronicles), is based on the Robert Graysmith books about the real-life notorious Zodiac killer in San Francisco. This film has been hyped for quite some time, because of Fincher's incredible track record: Se7en, Fight Club, and Alien 3 just to name a few. In addition to having one of the most beautiful posters this year (seen to the left), the movie just looks outstanding. Now we have a trailer to get you even more excited for what will be one of the great films starting off a big year for movies in 2007. Another sly murder investigation, but this time actually done well, unlike Black Dahlia or Hollywoodland.

Zodiac is directed by David Fincher and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr, and Mark Ruffalo. It's due out in theaters on March 2nd, 2007. Any thoughts on the Zodiac trailer? Leave a comment!

I feel like I have been waiting for the Zodiac trailer forever. I think the wait was worth it! brilliant! I am aching to see this movie. I think Fincher has hit it out of the ball park. I am also a huge fan of Downey jr. and it is so good to see him in this kind of role. I hope the movie is a big success for all concerned. Bring it on!!!

The wait was worth it. If ever there was a promo, that made u wish that u had been a time traveller just to jump ahead and catch the movie before anyone else, this is it. It looks incredible. And I always had second throughts as far as HD was concerned after seeing all those Michael Mann movies. Fincher has been vindicated big time here. This is probably the best stuff I have seen so far shot on digital, way better than aything made by Lucas, Rodriguez, Mann, Cameron etc…

I want to see this trailer so much but even tho I have quicktime I still can't get it. Any suggestions or solutions?

Hmmm… Joyce unfortunately the only way is with Quicktime. I can give you a direct link to the file if you e-mail me and maybe you can watch it that way. You'd just open Quicktime then and do "Open URL" and paste it in. Let me know (goto our Contact page)…
This movie looks incredible. I'm quite interested to see what Fincher has done. The trailer doesn't really make it feel like there is much of his unique touch, but as it goes, bad trailers mean great movies (and also vice versa). Can't wait!!
