Hostel 3 Supposedly Coming… Eventually
November 27, 2006
by Alex Billington
A report from Variety today quotes director and creator of the Hostel franchise Eli Roth as saying "Hostel III is all but signed." This early news comes much before the April 5th, 2007 release of Roth's Hostel II that just recently wrapped filming. Final decisions and more official announcements are likely to come after Hostel II's opening weekend, where its financial success is to be determined. Although the hype for Hostel II is quite a bit at the moment, I thought the general reaction to Hostel was negative. However it does have its loyal fans and there's always room for more horror films! Production will likely begin after Roth finishes filming Stephen King's The Cell sometime next year.

i thought it was brilliant somewhat romantic and delightful
On the other hand i thought the first one was much better even though the 2nd
had soem really good ideas in it from the beginning suich as ordinary family people
getting calls on their cellphones to see who wins the auction first

I agree that hostel 2 had some interesting and hillarious sequences, like the phone auction and the street boys, but I stil think the first one was the best. I think number two was too easy to see through, for instance when the rich girl bought herself out of the torture chamber.

I just finished hostel 2— i thought it was great. especially the end. i cant wait for a third; i mean it is getting bigger — with the whole bulldog tattoo, and the bidding wars. very clever.
i aggree it is sick and twisted but thats why they are horror and fright films. i cant wait for the next installment.

hey i reckon saw 1 and 2 are great but i dont think that it was that great whe paxton died……
he should of stayed alive it would make more sense it would of been better to see him helping people in that movie to get out of the chamber than to have his head cut off

I liked Hostel even though I could barely watch it..
haha, I enjoyed how the second one had some funny parts.
It took the weight off your chest.
I'd have to say the second one was better.

both 1 and 2 are good movies…but neither has anywhere near enough death chamber sequences, which is weird because thats what the whole movie is based around and thats what should be included above everything else!
Not hard guys, come on get it right for number 3 plz

I thought them movies offered a good underlying theme, a sort of highly critical corporate satire layed over a fairly solid slasher move. I do agree with Dienkes however, the movie needed more torture chamber action. Ilsa style!!!!
Go #3!! More blood, more gore, more hair-caught-in-skillsaw-action!
