Pirates 3: At Worlds End Will Have a Climatic End, Says the Writer
December 6, 2006
by Alex Billington
I just watched Pirates of the Caribbean 2 last night again, but alas, that's not what I'm here to tell you! I am here to tell you all about how awesome the third one - At Worlds End - is going to be. Especially because after seeing the Kraken totally destroy the Black Pearl and swallow Captain Jack Sparrow whole… I really want to know how this is all going to end! Well some great news - SciFi.com caught up with one of the writers of the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Terry Rossio. He revealed that the ending of this third film is going to be just incredible.
"The most difficult thing about writing a trilogy is coming up with the climactic ending of the trilogy. So for that third film, you have not only the usual challenges of coming up with an ending, but somehow you have to have the ending of all endings."
Let's hope they've done a good job. I've been amazed as the first and the second ones, even after doubting them (before seeing them), and now I'm quite looking forward to the third one coming out next May 25th, 2007.

Haven't seen Pirates 2 yet.
Thanks for the spoiler warning to go along with this bit of non-news. "A climactic ending?! For a trilogy?! My God!"
Sorry to be a negative bastard like so many others on the internet, but I've somehow avoided that spoiler up until now(very carefully I might add). Goddammit.
