Patrick Stewart Voicing Villain in TMNT
December 20, 2006
by Alex Billington

Among the many films I'm looking forward to next year, the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film called just TMNT is on the top of my list. It's probably because they were so much of my childhood and the first few movies are so classic that this "reboot" back into a CGI movie is peaking my interest. The latest news comes from PatrickStewart.org stating that Patrick Stewart, yes, Professor Xavier from X-Men, is voicing the character Max Winters in the film. Here's a little description they wrote up of the synopsis to help fit in Max Winters in the film.
"In this film, after the defeat of their old arch nemesis, The Shredder, the Turtles have grown apart as a family. Struggling to keep them together, their sensei, Master Splinter, becomes worried when strange things begin to happen in New York City. Tech-industrialist Max Winters goes mad after he was wrongfully fired and begins amassing an army of ancient monsters. Realizing his plan is succeeding, he is no longer satisfied with vengeance against his ex-employer, but now has thirst for World Domination." Thanks to PatrickStewart.org for the details! Can't wait for this movie - comes out in theaters next March 23, 2007.
