Silent Hill Sequel on the Way
December 26, 2006
by Alex Billington
Although the horror film Silent Hill won't top hardly any lists this year (either best or worst), it was confirmed that a sequel is being made by director Christophe Gans. He stated in a French interview on the website DVDRama that he would be returning with writer Roger Avary after Avary finishes another video game adaptation he is working on. Although he isn't yet sure if he would return as the director, Gans is still very close and very dedicated to the project. More details via the rough translation can be found on ComingSoon.net. I did see Silent Hill and thought it was very visually defined and one of the best video game adaptations I've ever seen, so a sequel is welcome.
