Krasinski Isn't Stuck Behind A Desk Anymore...
by Josh Green
December 13, 2006
John Krasinski, known to most people as Jim from the hit television show The Office, plans on pursuing a life outside of his character on the show. John will be directing his first feature film called Brief Interviews With Hideous Men. The film has already started production and is an indie drama based on the novel by David Foster Wallace.
The movie features Julianne Nicholson suffering from a rough breakup. She decides to videotape interviews with different guys, and tries to make sense of how men work. Other actors in the film are Ben Gibbard and Timothy Hutton. Krasinski has also signed to star alongside George Clooney and Renee Zellweger in Leatherheads. Krasinski is one of the many talented actors on The Office; which in my opinion is the best show on television right now. I have faith that he will be just as successful, if not more when it comes to his projects for the big screen. He can currently be seen in a small role in the upcoming Dreamgirls, as well as The Office every Thursday night on NBC.
