The Josh Report on Superman

Sorry I am not writing this live right after Superman. I usually like to think for a day or so about everything that happend since we started our little shindig around 27 hours before the movie started.
As a whole, I had a really good time, even for the fact that I am not that big of a Superman fan. The highlight for me was Chipotle. Those guys are freakin awesome. They totally loved what we were doing and hooked us up with so much great stuff to give away. Plus, who doesn't like geting more than one free burrito in a day?
The event was almost the same as X-men 3, but I wasn't as excited for this movie. And I was dissapointed that the fans didn't start showing up until around 6 or so. But when they did, it was sweet to see so many "S" shirts and costumes. I really loved hosting and announcing our giveaway in the theaters. That was a blast, too. Everyone seemed to get into it and hopefully we were able to pass the time quicker for all of them.
As for the movie….I am not a Superman fan. However, I thought that Bryan Singer did a great job of capturing the essence of the originals while putting his own stamp on the movie. I am astonished and impressed with the place he has made in pop culture. He truly is the biggest, strongest, fastest, and courageous of all super heroes…and trust me, that is a very hard thing for me to say. So although I might not have enjoyed the movie as much as everyone else, or how I kept asking why Bryan would leave X-men to do this, I hope all of the Superman fans can enjoy and live in the film that they have been waiting so long to see.
The man of steel has returned.
