New Grindhouse Fake Trailer Directors Announced

January 8, 2007
by Alex Billington

New details have arisen from the upcoming double-feature from Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez - Grindhouse. Between each of the two films from the directors, a set of trailers will be shown, to simulate even more the grind house theaters of past. These trailers, complete grotesque imaginings, are being created by some big names besides Tarantino and Rodriguez, and another new great addition has recently been added to that list!

Director Edgar Wright, of Shaun of the Dead and soon Hot Fuzz fame, will be directing a trailer, in addition to some other big horror directors. Eli Roth is creating a trailer for a film called "Thanksgiving" and Rob Zombie is creating a trailer for a film called "Werewolf Women of the SS." This latest news on Edgar Wright comes from the great Fangoria, so check out the article for all the details.

When you're excited to see a movie purely to go see the trailers stashed in the middle of it, you know this thing will be just amazing, or boring up until the trailers, but hopefully not the latter. I'm anxiously waiting for April 6th, and I hope all of you are, too!

I'd love to see Nicholas Cage as Fu Manchu!
