Sundance 07 Day 5 Wrap-Up: Fay Grim
January 24, 2007
by Alex Billington
Day 5 already? Wow, wait, that means we're just about at the midpoint. Today was my break day, I only saw one screening at Sundance, and took the rest of the time off. I did a few more interviews as well, specifically for Teeth, so keep watch for those. Sundance is starting to get a bit quieter, as the big crowds have cleared out since the weekend, but there are still plenty of dwindlers and even those who are just arriving.
I hear Justin Timberlake will be in town tomorrow for Black Snake Moan, and that's the biggest news. I instead chose to focus on a "crop" of other fantastic films instead of Black Snake Moan (check below for tomorrow's line-up). There are still a few that I really want to make sure I see before I leave, then the rest are going to be purely based off of suggestion and buzz. I wish I could still see a few that are already gone, like Son of Rambow and Grace is Gone, but alas, I can't get to everything. I've fallen for Sundance - I can't get enough! But I've got to take some breaks!
COMING SOON: Up for tomorrow is a full plate: Angel-A, Snow Angels, Rocket Science, King of California, and Fido.
