Sundance 07 Day 6 Wrap-Up: Record Setting 6 Films in One Day!
January 25, 2007
by Alex Billington
A world record day! I honestly think this was a world record for Sundance - I saw 6 films in one day. I was behind, I knew I had to catch up and there were a lot of good movies showing today - so I went all out. And I pulled it off! I'll tell you, by the end, I was hardly awake, but I enjoyed every last minute. I saw some incredible films, some amazing ones, and nothing that was bad - success!
As I said previously, I absolutely love Sundance. From the people out here to the people working and volunteering to the people and celebrities at the films. I can't get enough of it!
I saw the film Snow Angels (review info below) earlier in the day, which stars the remarkably gorgeous (if not the most attractive person in the world) Olivia Thirlby. After the film while I was waiting around for the Rocket Science screening, I ran into my friend Hale Appleman (who stars in Teeth at Sundance) who is friends with Olivia. I got to meet her in person and in turn attend the Rocket Science screening with her - she is just a wonderful, beautiful, and kind person.
We also got a review in earlier today with the legendary Luc Besson and the beautiful co-star of his film Angel-A - Rie Rasmussen. That interview will be posted soon. In addition I saw the midnight screening of the buzzed-about zombie film Fido - which was a great experience. Keep watch for all of our coverage being posted soon and the final days of Sundance!
COMING SOON: Up for tomorrow is just: Chasing Ghosts and The Ten.
