I'm not one to report endlessly on every last casting announcement, but this one is pretty big. It's making its way around the internet pretty rapidly - I guess that means it's a good thing. And finally we wrap up comic book week! No, this isn't anything official, but almost every bit of news this week has been comic book movie related, and this is the last bit of it.
The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Aaron Eckhart, from Thank You for Smoking, is in final negotiations to play Harvey Dent a.k.a. Two Face in the upcoming Batman Begins sequel titled The Dark Knight. For those that aren't familiar with Harvey Dent, he is the district attorney of Gotham City and an ally of Batman. After half his face is disfigured by acid, Dent becomes the insane crime boss known as Two Face. He chooses to do good or evil by flipping a coin. In 1995's Batman Forever this character was played by Tommy Lee Jones, but in The Dark Knight it's going to be a new envisioning.

This is awesome! I was scared for a little while with the Jamie Foxx rumor. Not cool man, not cool…

This could be good. I could see Aaron Eckhart doing a good job. I heard that Edward Norton was in talks. That would have been pretty amazing. I am a huge fan.
