February 28, 2007
by Alex Billington
The U.S. Comedy Arts Festival kicks off today in beautiful Aspen, Colorado featuring a whole bunch of independent comedies and much more. FirstShowing.net will be in attendance in Aspen for a few days checking out some of the films that will be showing, including Frank Oz's Death at a Funeral in its world premiere. The festival runs from today until Sunday, March 4th, and is sponsored by HBO. For those unfamiliar with the USCAF, it's another fest promoting independent film and new talent with a focus on comedy through not only feature length films and shorts, but also live performances.
