Latest SXSW Internet-Wide Coverage and Reviews
March 11, 2007
by Alex Billington
Unfortunately I am not out in Austin, Texas enjoying the week long SXSW Film Festival. After I was at Sundance in January, I've made it my mission to get to every film fest I can, but this one coincided with my ShoWest plans, so I couldn't make it. But for those interested in following that film fest and keeping up with the coverage from there, here is a bit of a "meta" article with all of the sites that are out in Austin writing up reviews and more.
» Ain't It Cool News - As always, they've got reviews pouring in from every citizen on the streets. So far: Disturbia, The King of Kong, All The Boys Love Mandy Lane, Them, Election Day, Big Rig.
» Cinema Blend - They've got some good capsule reviews of the following: Suffering Man's Charity, The Lookout, The Ten, Sisters, Black Sheep.
» Cinematical - Head editor James Rocchi is out doing what they do best - writing lengthy reviews: The Lookout, Confessions of a Superhero, Monkey Warfare, Diggers.
» Film Threat - Reviewing more films than you can shake a stick at! In just a few days, already: The Lookout, Everything's Gone Green, Running With Arnold, Steal a Pencil for Me, Eagle vs Shark, The Ten, The Unforeseen, Itty Bitty Titty Committee.
» Twitch Film - Reporting on all things obscure and foreign, and also some indies: Disturbia, The Lookout, Campaign, The Ten.
Just head over to the respective websites if you want to keep following their reviews and coverage of the SXSW film fest. If there are some more I missed that anyone wants to add, just e-mail me.
