Hill's Heart-Shaped Box Thriller Being Adapted by Neil Jordan

Here comes another freaky Stephen King-ish story idea. Author Joe Hill, the actual son of legendary horror novelist Stephen King (who interestingly kept his identity hidden for a while with that pen name) published a novel in early February this year titled "Heart-Shaped Box". After revealing his familial connection to Stephen King, Warner Brothers picked up the rights and is putting indie filmmaker Neil Jordan (Breakfast on Pluto, Michael Collins, The Brave One) on the job to both adapt and direct.
The book is a thriller with a storyline that revolves around an aging rock star with a penchant for the macabre. He can't refuse an offer to buy a suit on eBay that's said to contain a ghost. After the suit arrives, he begins to realize that while he wants the ghost gone, the ghost wants him dead. Well-known Hollywood screenwriter and producer Akiva Goldsman (Lost in Space, Constantine, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, I Am Legend) is also attached to the project as a producer.
Update: After seeing Neil Jordan's urban thriller The Brave One with Jodie Foster in the fall, I'm very curious to see how he'll adapt a more horrific thriller like this. Jordan has a very smooth and acute filmmaking style that could play very well to a ghost thriller, but what it will truly come down to will be the story and how he adapts Hill's novel. Either way, I'm definitely looking forward to this.

This book is better than anything the father has written in my opinion.
