Little Known, Funky Horror Trailers: Tripper, Hatchet, Shrooms

I'm amazed at the number of trailers that go by on the internet that no one ever sees. So in the first of a continual series, I'm going to be bringing you little known trailers that are definitely worth watching!

These little known, funky horror trailers just made their debut in recent days, and I've waded my way through the crap to bring you the best of them. If you like horror at all, or even if you don't, you need to watch all three of them: The Tripper, Shrooms, and Hatchet.

The Tripper
This is David Arquette's directorial debut and is a comedic slasher horror film about a Ronald Reagan-obsessed serial killer who goes after a bunch of hippies at a weekend-long concert in the forest. Oh yes, this looks damn good!
The Tripper opens on April 20th in a few theaters around the US - check here for the list.

Hatchet
The tagline says old school American horror, and it seems like another serial killer slasher flick with some sort of twist? Either way, the trailer doesn't show much beyond a bunch of quotes from Harry Knowles at Ain't It Cool News.
Hatchet opens on September 7th in the US.

Shrooms
Saving the best for last, an Irish drug (let's guess - hallucinogenic mushrooms) thriller that came out of no where and dropped one heck of a trailer. I thought this was going to be cheesy bad, but it actually looks pretty damn good!
Shrooms just got bought in Germany and doesn't have a release date yet.
