Worth Watching - Apr 24: Once Trailer

One of the few very highly talked about films I didn't catch while out at Sundance was one called Once. This Irish independent film tells the story of two people who fall in love and tell their tale through music. As always, I can't really describe this in words and the best way to truly get a grasp on this indie feature is by watching the trailer. This movie should be great - it won the Audience Award at Sundance, probably one of the best awards to receive and shows that it will really capture your heart.
Once was written and directed by John Carney and is set for a May 18th limited release in the US.

Its funny, how this actress has czech name, so obviously she is daughter of some czech emigrants, he is playing czech woman, but she doesnt speak proper czech. I dont have anything against it, I am just wondering why they had to pick someone of czech decent, when she doesnt know the language well, so she doesnt have any advantage in comparing with other wannabees for the role. According to imdb it is even her absolutely first movie. Just interesting.
