While out promoting another movie the talented Christian Bale stars in called Rescue Dawn (which was a fantastic film, definitely worth seeing), the latest actor to take on Batman spoke briefly on The Dark Knight, the sequel to Batman Begins, which he's currently out filming. Although Bale was rather quiet, he did answer a few questions in regards to reprising the role and his thoughts on Heath Ledger playing the Joker.
Here's a snippet of Bale's response when asked about if he can add anymore to the sequel and his character.
"We've got a great cast as well. Chris and me work very well together, so I know we'll be fighting an awful lot to add to it. The last thing it is is treading water. Now the people support us completely too so we have all that extra support behind us, to just kind of let rip."
Bale also gave a response to Heath Ledger taking on the Joker.
"He's a great choice for it. I like him personally, but he's got a real craving for playing that role. I think he's going to do something really very different."
For the rest of the interview and plenty more questions and answers that are definitely worth reading for any die hard Batman fan, check out SuperHeroHype.
