Crank + The Condemned + Gerard Butler = 'Game'

Crank (that high-energy movie from last year) creators Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor are joining with 300's Gerard Butler for a new film titled Game about a futuristic world where humans control other humans in mass-scale, multiplayer online game called "Slayers". The formula here sounds like, as described in the title, Crank's energy and style with Gerard Butler, aka King Leonidas, and a bit of game-playing nonsense like in the recent terrible WWE movie The Condemned, but don't fear, this may actually be good (unlike Condemned)!
Game is a high-concept thriller that takes place in the near future, when mind-control technology has taken society by storm. In this dystopian world, the ultimate online simulation environment is the game "Slayers", where Butler plays Kable, the number 1 highest ranked warrior. With his every move tracked by millions, Kable's ultimate challenge is to regain his identity and bring down the system that has imprisoned him. That actually doesn't sound that good… at least written out.
Neveldine and Taylor are teaming up with production company Lakeshore Entertainment, who seems to have a good reputation for producing great films recently. All-in-all, although the concept sounds dumb on paper, I think the movie could end up being pretty fun.

I'm a background slayer in this one and it's amazing how many limbs get blown off. The director keeps telling us to watch out for flying burning body parts. Every time I turn around there's some slayer next to me i've never met. They all turn out to be stunt men. they're sprinkled in everywhere.
