Bruce Willis Talks Die Hard 5 Already

The upcoming Live Free or Die Hard still has around 23 days until it hits screens, but Fox has already been taking Bruce Willis and the rest of the cast around the US in promotion of the film. During one of the stops, Bruce Willis spoke a bit about a fifth Die Hard already in the works, saying, "Fox is already talking about doing another one." Of course Fox would make a decision like that, given they haven't made a single good decision in years. However, if this upcoming PG-13 rated Die Hard 4 turns out to be any good, it may be something else to look forward to.
The report comes from both IESB and Dark Horizons, with the rest of Bruce's quote as well.
Here's what he had to say, "I told them I'd only do it if Len [Wiseman] was involved and Maggie Q and Justin [Long] of course. It's been since '95 so [it’s been] 12 years and 21 years is the span of all four of ‘em. So, you can see me when I'm 31 and you can see me when I'm 52. So you guys will decide."
As with Spider-Man 4 and Pirates of the Caribbean 4, this is all just early studio talk and nothing official will be confirmed until Live Free or Die Hard opens and they see how well it performs at the box office. And even then it's a long path and a lot of work to make sure Willis is back and that everything else is right. As with Spidey and Pirates, I'm sure there will be more news to report to you around July 1st once the film is out and box office earnings are in.
As I said earlier, I think we'll all decide once we've seen Live Free or Die Hard and determine whether it's good enough to warrant another sequel or if (like Sylvester Stallone has been doing with Rocky and Rambo) it puts a good finish on a memorable series.
