Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass: From Bourne to Emerald City

On August 3rd you'll see the final installment of the Jason Bourne series, The Bourne Ultimatum, which spans 5 years since The Bourne Identity came out in 2002. The two geniuses behind these films are the star who plays Jason Bourne, Matt Damon, and the director Paul Greengrass (who only actually directed the second and third films). After this series ends it isn't the end of their success together however, as they're going to be teaming up again on an adaptation of the book Imperial Life in the Emerald City by Rajiv Chandrasekaran.
The book was written by Washington Post writer Rajiv Chandrasekaran and is non-fiction work about the chaos in Iraq. Greengrass' adaptation will be about a composite character, played by Damon, based on various people from the book. Although there isn't much more to add, including more specifically what the plot will be or how it will play out, the project so far has the right things going for it to be an interesting film.
