Diablo Movie Being Developed, Too!

The production studio Legendary Pictures, who've brought us the likes of Superman Returns and 300 recently, have listed another new project on their website - Diablo. For a while now a World of Warcraft adaptation has been out in the works (with no immediate progress as far as I've heard), but I guess it just took some time and extra work with Blizzard Entertainment to finally work out the kinks on a Diablo project.

For those unfamiliar with the game, it originally hit shelves in 1996 and was a fantasy based action-adventure game where a player would battle his way through various levels of hell (entering through a church) to finally battle the demon Diablo himself. It was one of the greatest video games of all time and I'll admit I've spent plenty hours of my life dedicated to it. Hearing that this may come together has me pretty excited. If you're a fan of Diablo, just imagine that universe set in a 300 style movie - that's what we're looking forward to.
