Brett Ratner Directing Film About Playboy's Hugh Hefner

X-Men: The Last Stand and Rush Hour series director Brett Ratner has been set to direct a new film titled Playboy about the life of Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner. The film will be somewhat of a biopic but not in the normal sense, as the announcement stated that it's been a troublesome to make a film about 81-year-old Hefner's long life as the icon of the sexual revolution, but they found a way which has even received Hefner's approval.
Big time producer Brian Grazer (Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind, The Da Vinci Code) will be producing and a script is being written by John Hoffman. It's unsure if this will be Ratner's next project following Rush Hour 3, as he's also waiting for a rewrite on another script he's work on. The details on this project sound interesting, and apparently Ratner and screenwriter Hoffman have come up with a way that pleased both Grazer and Hefner, so expect something that may be a little out of the ordinary but still very entertaining.

Brett Ratner - umm…hmmm….er…..how can you put it nicely. SUCKS! Since creating Rush Hour, he lost his touch towards the end. Why make it a trilogy when the first one shouldve been all. X3!!?!! what a piece of shit! the series couldve stopped at 2 and been better off than to let this toolbox open up his box of shit. Any movie with this guy's name on it is destined to suck a big one.
