Thomas Haden Church Gets More Work - All About Steve

For those of you that saw Spider-Man 3, what did you think, did Thomas Haden Church do a great job as Sandman? And what about his performance in Sideways? Personally, I think this guy is a brilliant and underrated actor but he's only been getting a few roles recently. However there is some good news at least - he's in final negotiations to co-star opposite Sandra Bullock in comedy titled All About Steve.
The story centers on a brilliant crossword constructor (Bullock) who, after one short date, decides that a CNN cameraman (Church) is her true love. Because the cameraman's job takes him hither and yon, she crisscrosses the country, turning up at media events as she tries to convince him they are perfect for each other. Sounds like a cute and fun little romantic comedy in the works!
The screenplay was written by Kim Barker (License to Wed) and it will be directed by first-timer Phil Traill. All About Steve starts shooting this summer, so if you're a fan of Haden Church's acting ability like me, keep watch for this in the coming year!
