New Golden Compass and Death Sentence Posters

Two new posters for two movies that couldn't be more unrelated. First up is a new character based poster for The Golden Compass, which is building a considerable following and could be something pretty unique this fall. The second is the first poster for James Wan's (Saw, Dead Silence) next revenge action film titled Death Sentence that needs another promo boost. Check out both new posters below.
If you haven't already watched the teaser trailer for The Golden Compass, I suggest you check it out. Out of all the big fantasy films lining up over the next few years, this one looks (so far) like it'll be the one that stands out. You can also see the individual character posters over at Cinematical.
Back in May we posted the first photo from James Wan's Death Sentence, which is a vengeance action film starring Kevin Bacon. There is no marketing for it yet, or a trailer, but this should kick start up some hype and we'll likely see a trailer soon.
The Golden Compass is set to hit theaters on December 7th and Death Sentence is currently set to hit on August 31st.

The Golden Compass poster is fugly. It looks so cheesy and fake. Don't get me wrong, the movie looks great and I will definetly be seeing it, but that poster… The Death Sentence one isn't bad either. I love the Saw series so I will give this one a chance.
