The Other Side Gets An Impressive Cast

When one of those movies comes along that has an impressive cast, you're instantly interested. You just can't turn your head away from seeing a lineup of people together that impresses almost everyone. The new fantasy comedy titled The Other Side is just that way, as they've picked up a cast including Brittany Murphy, Jason Lee, Giovanni Ribisi, Jim Broadbent, Tim Roth and Lili Taylor. The film doesn't have a distributor just yet, but is being directed by producer David Michaels.
The Other Side is a fantasy comedy that centers on a young grad student, to be portrayed by Brittany Murphy, who must spend the summer working at a scientific institute on a remote northern island. She discovers an eccentric community of characters who are hiding a secret about a terrible tragedy that took place many years before. The script was written by Michaels and Phil Reeves and filming is scheduled to begin starting in November.
Another interesting point to note is that on IMDb, Jason Lee is listed as about 6 different characters. Is he going to pull an Eddie Murphy or Mike Myers and take on half of the eccentric cast?
