Oh No, Paris Hilton Joins Repo! The Genetic Opera

We've been talking about Darren Lynn Bousman's Repo! The Genetic Opera movie for quite some time, ever since he first brought it up. The latest casting news on the film is that the one-and-only Paris Hilton has joined. The other cast already involved are (of course) Tobin Bell, Alexa Vega, and Paul Sorvino. Anyone excited, or has this film absolutely been ruined?
Paris will sing in the futuristic thriller framed around musical numbers that range from opera to rock. The setting is 2056, when a plague nearly destroys the human race and survival is dependent upon being able to finance a pricey organ transplant. Hilton will play the daughter of the organ transplant magnate (played by Sorvino) who is the villain in the film.
I'm not sure I would exactly approve of Hilton's singing in a film that I was very much looking forward to. However, I'll be optimistic and hope for the best. I trust that Bousman knows what he is doing. The film is aiming for release sometime in 2008 after Darren finishes promoting Saw IV and starts up production late this year.

Nothing is more appealing to me than Nivek motherfuckin' Ogre killing Paris Hilton.
This is going to be the best movie. Ever.

Rachel: Ogre didnt have a problem with Paris being part of the movie.
And everyone else it seems you didnt watch the movie. She did a good job and it isnt goin to sink because she's attached. I hated the fact she was in it until I bought the dvd and watched it. She actually did a good job and you would get the same reaction from people who have seen it.
Rent it, buy it, who the fuck cares, just watch it before you whine like a bitch because who is in it.
