Brett Ratner and Chris Tucker Adapting Mr. S: My Life With Frank Sinatra

How many of you actually went out and saw Rush Hour 3? As big of a fan of the Rush Hour series as I was (when the second one came out at least), I still haven't seen the third one. Anyway, both Rush Hour director Brett Ratner (X-Men 3) and star Chris Tucker are teaming up yet again, this time in a film adaptation of the book "Mr. S: My Life With Frank Sinatra." The film is about Frank Sinatra's valet George Jacobs, who will be played by Tucker.
The book, written by George Jacobs and William Stadiem, is a revealing behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of Sinatra and the Rat Pack. The screenplay, which will be written by Stadiem, a longtime chronicler of old Hollywood, will apparently include celebrity anecdotes involving Marilyn Monroe, Peter Lawford, the Kennedys, Ava Gardner, Humphrey Bogart, Mia Farrow, Elvis Presley, Swifty Lazar and Marlene Dietrich, among others.
I'll admit I'm not a hater of Brett Ratner (I didn't despise X-Men 3 as much as everyone else did), but I can't say I'm fond of him either. He really hasn't impressed me that much and I'm starting to find his films more and more bland. I would've hoped that a story like this could've been told by a real filmmaker, but I guess that's not the case. Unfortunately I can't really see a great film about Frank Sinatra in the hands of Brett Ratner and Chris Tucker.

Saw the first 1…..was tricked into the 2nd…..will not see the 3rd.
As for this? I dont know that Chris Tucker can do serious acting for more than…..well….ever.
