Trailer for Katherine Heigl's 27 Dresses

Did you enjoy The Devil Wears Prada? Good. Now look at this cast: Katherine Heigl, James Marsden, Ed Burns, Malin Akerman. If all of that got you excited, then you're the perfect person for 27 Dresses. Just like The Devil Wears Prada, a title with "dresses" in it immediately means it's not really for men, unless you're like me who enjoys the occasionally sappy romance. This cute rom-com is about a woman who's been a bridesmaid 27 times but never able to be successful in a relationship of her own. I leave the rest to the trailer, as it really sells the story well.

27 Dresses is directed by Anne Fletcher, the director of Step Up and choreographer on everything from Catch Me If You Can to The 40 Year Old Virgin. I guess that means we can expect some great dancing. The film will hit theaters everywhere on January 11th, 2008.

Funny end but I like how they list Heigel as girl from 'Knocked Up'. I think I'll stay with 'P.S. I Love You'.

I don't know if I fully agree with you Alex: I remember her from my days watching Roswell, and she's been pretty famous since Grey's anatomy, and then Knocked up demonstrated her as 'movie star' quality. But still… one love
