I'm Not There Trailer

Hopefully you've heard of I'm Not There by now. It's the film about Bob Dylan's life played by seven various actors, from Cate Blanchett to Christian Bale. It not only won the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival, but Cate Blanchett (pictured above) won Best Actress. I've heard some great things and above and beyond reviews, I'm just curious to see how each of the seven actors portrays Bob Dylan! Take a look at this final trailer and look for I'm Not There coming to your local art house theater soon enough.

[...] The new trailer is quite good and a little more traditional, with a beginning, middle and end, than previous efforts. Cate Blanchett is still the focus, getting most of the loving shots of the camera. Check it out over at Alex’s place. [...]

sorry to dissagree but this looks lame. i wish they had picked one actor because it could of been very good. this just looks like a big mess, a gimmick, and very confusing.

Been a big fan of Dylan and am very impressed by Todd Haynes' approach for telling us his story. Dylan refuses to stay the same for very long. He's constantly changing his musical style, his vocal style… and it does appear that each group of albums, for example BRINGING IT ALL BACK HOME, HIGHWAY 61 REVISITED, BLONDE ON BLONDE and TIME OUT OF MIND, LOVE AND THEFT, MODERN TIMES could've been made by a different artist. I am very excited about seeing this movie. I will have trouble waiting until November 21.

Yo Sarah,

"sorry to dissagree but this looks lame. i wish they had picked one actor because it could of been very good. this just looks like a big mess, a gimmick, and very confusing."

That's kind of the point. That's practically the definition of "Bob Dylan."
