Sweet Thanksgiving Break Delights - Definitely, Maybe Trailer
November 17, 2007

I don't mind the occasional sweet romantic comedy, as long as it's really good. I've seen P.S. I Love You, the Gerard Butler / Hilary Swank rom-com, and it's definitely a tear jerker and a strong December hit. So I fired up this trailer for Definitely, Maybe not knowing what it was, and discovered another sweet rom-com that I think is worth mentioning. Basically Ryan Reynolds dates Rachel Weisz, Isla Fisher, and Elizabeth Banks (could they have found three more perfect women?!) over some point of his life and ends up with a daughter, played by Abigail Breslin. Now he's a single father and his daughter wants to find out who his mother is so he retells the story of all three of those relationships. And I guess what happens next is he finds some sort of magic within one of them.

Definitely, Maybe is both written and directed by Adam Brooks, who wrote and directed The Invisible Circus and also wrote Wimbledon and Bridget Jones 2. The film arrives in theaters next year on Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2008.

Hi Alex,
are you planning to post a review of PS I love you now you've seen it? Please, please!

This probably isn't the proper place, but I don't know of any other place to say it: I'm honestly not a fan of the new site layout. The main reason that I used to come to FirstShowing was because of how great the layout was, and now it looks - I'm sorry to be blunt - very amateur. Please tell me this is just a beta test and you'll return to your old layout soon! If not, I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

The website hasn't changed Jack Steele…. what are you talking about?

Looks like a good one, worthy enough of finding a date to go watch.

I got a different initial layout as well, and I agree with Steele about the old one being better.

Thanks for the reply, Alex. You could post a review of PS I love you and talk about meeting Gerry on the set of Game too lol. That would be great :D. But if both can't be and I have to choose, I prefer the review of PS.
BTW, I like the layout though I don't know if the former one was better because I haven't seen that.
