Two Awesome International Dark Knight Posters!
December 14, 2007

What is it with cool posters this week?! First we had the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull poster, and now two amazing ones for The Dark Knight! The previous teaser poster for The Dark Knight was quite unimpressive - however both of these really ramp up the energy. It comes from Collider, who is claiming they are official posters made for international territories, but I've got this funny feeling it might be a fan creation. It looks too much like a drawing to me. I will say one thing - if it is a drawing, it is one hell of an incredible drawing! Either way, it's awesome, so check it out below!
Update: We've added another new poster of the Joker from Allocine.fr. This confirms that these are real and they are digital paintings instead of promo images. The second one is featured underneath the first one. Both of these look beautifully awesome.

Christian Bale once again embodies the man behind the mask in The Dark Knight. The film reunites Bale with director Christopher Nolan and takes Batman across the world in his quest to fight a growing criminal threat. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Batman has been making headway against local crime… until a rising criminal mastermind known as The Joker (Heath Ledger) unleashes a fresh reign of chaos across Gotham City. To stop this devious new menace–Batman's most personal and vicious enemy yet–he will have to use every high-tech weapon in his arsenal and confront everything he believes.
The Dark Knight arrives in theaters next summer on July 18th, 2008.

Sorry, but I think this is a fake. Why would you have your movie logo/title so small, and in such a strange place? I dunno.

Thanks, Mike.
And if you check out www.impawards.com they have a new poster and it is the joker behind a blurred glass drawing a smile on him in what looks like blood.

I got to watch the trailer last night on a digital theater projector. Just wait till you guys get to see it in beautiful resolution and on a massive screen. This movie looks to be absolutely phenomenal. Heath Ledger was such an unexpected and AMAZING casting job. And the posters aren't fake. The quality of the images is too good for it to be anything but studio produced.

The only thing that leaves me skeptical is how the joker looks a little brighter than his background. It seems like a drop and paste job with no overlay. And the logo looks out of place on the joker one… im always skeptical

Anyone know what that music is playing in the background for that fyrebug site posted above? Fits perfectly with the concept of the "joker". I know its called Joker's Poem but is it original or a rip off of something classical?

@ #20…
I think it's from Tim Burton's Batman movie…sounded kinda familiar.

i think batman should be the one in the city, on the streets
and joker up in the penthouse looking down on the city trying to calculate and plan how to terrorize it

Altough I love Christopher Nolan's Depiction Of Batman But I Don't Like His Vision Of Gotham City. It More Looks Like Tokyo To Me. I'm In Love The Gotham City That Tim Burton Created In Batman Returns. And Too Much Pitty That Sissy people Called Too dark.
