Apatow, Smigel, and Sandler's 'Zohan' Script Picked up by Sony

A new script written by three of comedy's greatest: Judd Apatow, Robert Smigel and Adam Sandler titled You Don't Mess With the Zohan has been picked up by Sony Pictures with Adam Sandler set to star. The announcement originally comes from Reuters and includes that the film start shooting this summer for a summer 2008 release. The plot follows the exploits of a Mossad agent who fakes his death so he can anonymously move to New York and become a hair stylist. Sandler and Apatow worked previously on The Wedding Singer as an example of the work the two have created.
