Burly New Batch of Rambo IV Photos

Although these aren't exciting as watching John Rambo viciously kill his enemies in the promo footage that we ran here back in May, these are still worth a look. Rambo IV is actually officially titled just John Rambo, which means that's what we'll be calling it from now on. This looks like it's going to be just one hell of a brutally violent movie from start to finish and I can't wait!

In case you're not familiar, John Rambo is directed by Sylvester Stallone himself. The story isn't anything to be concerned about because it's just another basic "don't fuck with Rambo" style story. You can hear more in the trailer that we ran in May.

Damn does this look good! If you haven't already seen it or just want to watch it again, I suggest you go watch the promo footage / trailer - it's received endless buzz across the internet. John Rambo does not have a release date set yet, but is aiming for release sometime around May 2008.

I'm with all of you, he looks pumped. I can't wait to see this movie, I'm gonna go opening night. Who says because you have too many birthdays you can't keep doin' what you've been doin' your entire life. He looks better than a lot of 30 something year old guys doing it. I'm actually hoping that this isn't his last action movie. All the power to ya Sly!!!

Another great movie from the best action actor ever seen. John Rambo looks awesome, cant imagine how many times I will see it, and the controversy it will cause here in the UK where the censors are so PC....cmon sly keep bringing these movies out and well keep watchin. Ive heard a rumour that Rambo 5 is already signed and sly has signed for it also......keep em killing!!!!!!!

This is worth the wait we have to wait for movies to be almost 4goten so when we dont xpect it,and and when they come back like stallone the movie has a bigger impact than when we us in our 30's can be like(WOW) DID U SEE THAT! its always worth the wait to see if they are going to bring back characters back from the movies from the 80;s but from the looks of it i know rambo is going to kick major (ASS) IN THE BOX OFFICE so die hared it looks like u did DIE HARD nice try... rambo will always kick ass great job sly

Stallone is a phenom. It amazes me that he is 61 and still in great shape. To pull off rocky balboa and now rambo. I remember following the rumors over the years that he was considering doing another rocky and rambo sequal. I've been a die hard fan since I was a kid but with his age I wasn't sure he could pull it off. I'm glad his last movie wasn't spy kids 3-d, that would have been a shame for him to go out like that. After seeing rocky balboa it was everything I expected and more. I heard he wanted to do another rambo sequal and read online the rumors of the plot and thought it was going to be chessy. Don't get me wrong I want stallone to keep making action movies even if he has to carry a callostrophy bag around with him or in a wheel chair for that matter. I saw the trailer for rambo back in april and was blown away, awesome and graphically violent, everything you would expect from a stallone movie. The back story and the plot are terrific. I can't wait for this to come out. I've seen all 3 trailers combined at least 80 times, literally. The more I watch them the more excited I get for this movie, more-so than I did for rocky balboa. A meesage to sylvester stallone as quoted in rocky balboa "you only live your life once, never give up and never stop believing in yourself,". Go out with a bang! Please, do not retire and just direct, you far to talented for that. Fans enjoy your movies cause they feel for the characters you play it's not always about age. Keep us coming to the movies for years to come!!!!!!!!

omg this movie is awesome!!! if you dotn like violence do not watch it! when i went in to see it i was like o man im gonna hate this cuz its so violent but afteri saw one guy get shot in the head on a boat thats when i started to change my mind about the violence... I now will watch this movie countlessly and watchign every single head beign shot bodie being blown up to bits or even guys gettign there adams apple ripped out by bare hands

I want to be like you Stallone. I wish you were Australian. I am 56 and want to look like you. I am trying to keep fit, but it is hard. I love your movies, keep it up as long as you can pal. If you look good, you feel good. Your a great role model. I can't wait for your latest movie.
