First Test Image of Rorshach from Watchmen!

This very mysterious image first appeared at the 1:52 (or time left 3:38) mark for a brief moment in a new 300 trailer on YouTube. At first you'll do a double take and wonder, is this real? But thanks to the good guys over at Ain't It Cool News again, they revealed a full-on, high resolution version of the image, straight from Watchmen (and 300) director Zack Snyder himself. For those that don't know, the character is Rorshach, a very well known and prominent Watchmen character. Read on for the full wallpaper-size version!

This could be the great pre-buzz thing that Snyder could ever do. This Watchmen movie is going to be HUGE, I mean, EPICALLY huge. The support this comic book has is enormous. And this photo is just setting up a perfect early on bit of buzz for the movie.

I've been one of those who doesn't feel too confident about a Watchmen movie, just as expressed in the hypecasts where I think it was Dave and Barry had apprehesion over a film version. However, I gotta say that this image is pretty awesome. Am I slowly being brought over to Alex's side?

No, Charlie! Don't do it! NEVER go over to Alex's side! That's a dark place, full of deception and despair! Stick with Dave and I- we'll lead on the straight and narrow. Don't let that image fool you! It's just a GLIMPSE at what Snyder is doing. Hold onto your enthusiasm until you see a trailer...or until we see that Rorshach has nipples on his Batsuit (don't do it, Snyder!!!).
