FirstShowing.net - One Year in the Making!

If you can believe it was one year ago that we posted our very first article here on FirstShowing.net and launched our little website into what it is today. The first article was simply announcing that tickets for Pixar's Cars and Superman Returns had gone on sale locally, all part of our connection back to the movie theater. Now some 1,145 articles, 3,861 comments, over 10 million hits, and 365 days later, we've reached a point that well exceeds all of our initial expectations and is an achievement we're glad to be sharing with all of you, our loyal readers.

I just wanted to take a moment to celebrate this occasion and thank all of you, our readers, every last one of you, who is currently reading this, for helping us get to this point. It's because of all of you that all of the staff at FirstShowing.net is still excited to wake up every day and make sure you get all of your movie news, hype, reviews, interviews, and everything related to movies.

Be prepared for an even exciting year two as we kick off with one solid year under our belt and gear up to make your experience online and in the movie theater even better than before. I'm sure I speak for all of our staff when I say we're ecstatic to be serving the movie-going public and getting all of you just as excited for movies as we all are. In the same, I hope you're experience here is just as satisfying and as always, we invite you to get in touch with us with any comments, compliments, tips, or suggestions for improvement.
