Frank Miller's 300 Going IMAX

For those that haven't yet heard, the epic Spartan comic book adaptation 300 will be hitting IMAX theaters in addition to regular screens on its release - March 9th. These will not be 3D, but rather IMAX representations (like Matrix, V for Vendetta, Harry Potter, Poseidon and other Warner Brothers films previously). There is nothing else major within this announcement, beyond saying that it's going to be truly epic to see six story high Spartan warriors battling their hearts out - I can't wait! I've said it before - 300 is my most anticipated film of 2007, and you'll see plenty more coverage nearer the release date here on FirstShowing.net!

crap! imax in manhattan is already sold out on fandando for saturday. I was all set to go. Might have to go early and pick up a ticket beforehand...
