George Miller's Justice League Movie is Testing Actors

Honestly, I'm not really sure what's going on with the Justice League of America movie. It's got tons of buzz at the moment, but there are no confirmations on when it will shoot, what superheroes will actually be in it, or any story details. The latest update on the film is a big list of actors who director George Miller is currently testing in Los Angeles. The roles they're competing for range from Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern and the Martian Manhunter. Apparently a whopping 35-40 actors are being seen for various roles in the film. Who are they?
Included in the casting sessions are: Adam Brody ("The O.C."), Joseph Cross (Running With Scissors), D.J. Cotrona ("Windfall"), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Final Destination 3), Michael Angarano (Sky High), Teresa Palmer (The Grudge 2), Max Thieriot (Nancy Drew) and rapper Common. Also present is most of the cast from NBC's "Friday Night Lights", including Minka Kelly, Adrianne Palicki and Scott Porter.
Almost everyone listed is very young, an interesting observation. Miller, who directed last year's Happy Feet and the Mad Max trilogy, is looking for "young actors to grow into their roles over the course of several movies." Miller is also testing to see how well the actors interact with one another and how they look as a group, especially given they'll be working together as the Justice League. He's expected to report back to the studio midweek. From there we can expect official casting announcements and further progress on the film by the end of October.
Is this Justice League movie really coming together as something good? Or is it just going to be a mess all put together at the wrong time with the wrong cast. I think everyone admits that the real Justice League movie they want(ed) is one with Christian Bale as Batman and Brandon Routh as Superman all intertwined with their respective solo movies. Unfortunately that really doesn't seem to be what Warner Brothers and George Miller is going for. Only time will tell...
