Live Action Hercules Project Being Developed

Oh no, Hollywood is yet again making another odd decision! The production team at Millennium Films, comprised of Avi Lerner, Boaz Davidson, and Joe Gatta, have developed a project based on the mythological Greek hero Hercules. The reasoning, as far as we can see, is based on the success of 300, and the "apparent" renewed interest in the sword-and-sandals genre. The film will be live action with a script written by Sean Hood (Halloween: Resurrection), but no actual plot or project details have otherwise been announced, including the lack of a director. Contrary to what some in Hollywood may believe, the success of 300 does not mean that sword-and-sandal movies are back.
Unless it really pushes the limits of film, like 300 did under Zack Snyder's excellence, this will turn into nothing more than a forgettable flop.
