WORTH WATCHING
Pixar's Ratatouille 9-Minute Clip Online!
by Alex Billington
May 1, 2007

Disney and Pixar have put a full 9-minute clip online and available for viewing from Ratatouille. This is a MUST see (in an unrelated mention, so is the Fantastic Four 2 trailer for yesterday) simply because it is a great introduction to the movie via one of the best moments in it. I know this summer has a lot of huge, explosive hits on their way, but you can't forget what may end up being the best movie in general, but will at least definitely earn the title of best CGI movie this summer.
Just head over to Disney.com to watch the 9-minutes now!
I've really got to emphasize you keep your eye on this movie and make sure you don't miss its opening in late June. Where as other non-Pixar CGI movies (e.g. Flushed Away, another movie about a rat) focus on the playful and unrealistic factor of just a film packed with entertainment and not any story, Pixar focuses on human emotions (told often through things that aren't human) and realism (to a degree) and they tell a real story, not just a "cartoon". This is what makes their movies stand out so much, and I know Ratatouille will be the same way. I'm already expecting this to be one of the best movies this year.
Ratatouille hits theaters nationwide on June 29th and was written and directed by Academy Award winning director Brad Bird, who also wrote and directed The Incredibles.
