Wahlberg in Shyamalan's Happening?

Just days ago we brought you news and details on M. Night Shyamalan's next movie known as The Happening. In a rather interesting twist of events, a scooper told JoBlo.com that it's possible we may see Mark Wahlberg as the lead in the movie. As a refresher, the film is a paranoid "eco-thriller" about a family on the run from a natural crisis that presents a large-scale threat to humanity. This is all just a rumor at the moment, but it still sounds interesting, and will become much more interesting if this is true, as I'm a big Wahlberg fan.
