War, Inc Trailer

This trailer came out of left field, but it's a degree better than the trailers for Cusack's other film The Martian Child. I think they're international trailers designed for international audiences, but it doesn't hurt to introduce you to what's probably not going to be that great of a movie anyway but may at the least be interesting. In it, John Cusack plays a hit man assigned to kill a Middle East oil minister, but some comedy and mayhem ensues. Enjoy!

War, Inc was directed by indie filmmaker Joshua Seftel and partially written by Cusack, but does not yet have a 2007 release date set for America. We'll keep you updated once we know more.

Looks like it might be more political than GPB, which was morally ambivalent... and that's what made it so good.

This movie looks like it may be controversial. Hopefully it gets a wide release in theaters, I do love the cast though. John Cusack, Marissa Tomei, and Hilary Duff? How much better can you get. Im really interested in seeing Hilary Duff in a role like this.

yeah, i wanna see this movie sooo bad, cause hilary is going to be in it, her other roles in movies were so chick flick-ish, i've been waiting for something she's in that's more complicated, oh, and joan cusack is brilliant!!
  • Jason ( Obv )
I wanna see this movie only for Hilary Duff. IT seems much better then the other movies she has done, and I cant wait for it.

This movie looks interesting, to say the least. I think Hilary Duff has a lot of potential...I hope she does well. It should be funny to see her in this role. I would have never expected a plot and a cast like this...

omg hilary duff! my favourite actress/singer, and I can't wait to see this movie because she is totally someone else that isn't really her. Whore - nice one but she is not one. In this movie should be amazing, and for hilary duff's characteristic in this movie.

I dont expect this movie to come out until next year. It's made exclusively for the Toronto Film Festival. The release date for the public really depends on the reaction from the audience at the film festival which is mostly directors.

Hilary Duff? Action? A dream come true! I couldn't believe it when I saw it, now I just can't wait to see it. With JOHN CUSACK! I loved Grosse Pointe Blank-and now this! Hilary Duff, you are incredible-in, a bad ass role aswell, I love it! Can't wait to finally meet you......-x X x- P.S. The film looks awesome, I will be buying that, like all the others-purely because of you!

...probably not going to be that great? Hmmmmm, What an idiot. GPB is in my top 5 favourite movies and frankly if your not enough of a cynic to enjoy it then you have a lot of life to live and a lot of self edumacation is required. I expect War Inc to be 'that great of a movie' and this trailer looks very promising.

I hope this does some really big exposing of the military industrial complex. It may be a satire but I hope Americans take a really close look at this and start discussions about it. With Ben Kingsley in it too, it's got to be pretty good.
  • Esstanislao
Dan Akroid is nice GPB touch. Cusack is sharp as knife, this should awesome.

Does anyone know when War Inc will be released in Canada? I heard an on-air interview with John Cusack on 102.1 (the Dean Blendell show) and they said it would be showing April 25, 2008. That's today and I can't find it anywhere!
  • Not a sequel to Gross Pointe Blank. Cusack co-wrote it and says it is a reaction to the Iraq war. I'm excited to see it too.
  • guest
This movie seems to have an unpleasant resemblance to the war in Iraq. The movie overlooks the fact that killing an oil minister is killing innocent civilians too, and that is precisely what is happening in Iraq. What else could be worse than taking pleasure from killing innocent civilians? Is comedy getting too difficult for the movie industry to handle, which seems to be running short of better ideas to satiate the consumer? Or is it that the Iraq war is pleasurable, either humanely or even economically?

Damn...I dunno if i am smokin' somethin' different than you people...but to me,Marisa Tomei,John Cusack And Hillary Duff,DOES NOT A Good Movie Make!!!...LOL...Actually the WORST possible cast to get me to pay any attention to this, and THIS sort of thing,is usually what i like the MOST...Its sad to see how disapointed i am right now...
