Weta Workshop Building Justice League's Costumes

I wish we could be reporting more Marvel Avengers news, but alas, the Justice League movie is what's actually going into production first. An update from The Dominion Post has confirmed that Peter Jackson's Weta Workshop in New Zealand will design the costumes for Justice League. Weta Workshop specializes in physical effects such as costumes, props, models and movie sets, and Weta Digital does computer-generated visual effects. At the moment, the only confirmation is that Weta Workshop will be developing the costumes and that Weta Digital is NOT necessarily involved with the CGI. Is this movie getting any better? I still doubt it.
One of Justice League's producers, Barrie Osborne, confirms their involvement and praises the work so far.
"They are doing all the costumes and they're doing a brilliant job," he told The Dominion Post from Sydney.
"A lot of people thought it would be too hard, that you can only make those things in Hollywood."
So this explains why director George Miller has always talked about filming in Australia! And now with the Peter Jackson touch, does this mean Justice League could maybe turn out somewhat good? I'm still very, very skeptical, just the concept of the younger superheroes to begin with is troublesome. But, leave it to Osborne to continue to say great things about the film.
"George Miller has a great take on the material, so it elevates it to something that's not a comic-book movie," he said.
No budget has been announced for the long-awaited movie, which would bring together a range of superheroes including Superman, Batman, The Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern.
We are waiting on 100% official casting announcements from the studio before reporting on Justice League anymore, and we will continue to wait until there is some solid information. There have been so many rumors floating around about this movie that nothing is solid unless reported by a producer or someone else explicitly involved in the film. We'll keep you updated.

This has to be the first good news coming from this movie… at least the costume design will be good… I have faith in Weta, but that doesn't mean i have faith in the movie… but this announcement at least pushes them in a good direction…
