Bond 22 Officially Titled Quantum of Solace

The newest upcoming James Bond movie, the 22nd film in the franchise, has officially been titled Quantum of Solace. The name was announced at a press conference today in England and is taken from a name of a collection of short stories published by Bond creator Ian Fleming in 1960. It's taking me a little while to warm up to it, but I'm start to really like it. It's really bringing me back to the classic days of Bond, which is what this needs for Daniel Craig's version to still live on.
In Quantum of Solace, Bond will travel to Austria, Italy and South America. The plot will focuses on Bond's attempt to get revenge and uncover the truth about Vesper, the girl he fell in love with in Casino Royale. The film's villain is Dominic Greene, played by Mathieu Amalric, who works under the cover of an organization known as Green Planet. This seemingly harmless front wants to control one of the world's most important natural resources and in order to do so, Greene makes a deal with an exiled South American general to get him back into power.
Quantum of Solace's new Bond girl is Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko, as was announced earlier. She plays Camille, who is after revenge like Bond is. "They have slightly different goals, but in the end they are going to have to collaborate."
However, this time around, Kurylenko is going to be a much more badass Bond girl, not as fragile as Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale. "I'm doing weapons training and body flight training for aerial scenes and stunt work for fighting," Kurylenko explains. "My days are so long, and it's very physical. She's a fighter. This girl is going to kick ass. She's on her own mission and she's driven by revenge."
Quantum of Solace will arrive in theaters on November 7th. The film will be directed by Marc Forster of Stranger Than Fiction and The Kite Runner.

sounds very interesting.
i love the way they did casino royale. it didnt have all the crazy gadgets that all the other bonds had and it made him seem more real. i definatly hope that they keep the same theme with this one and not try to be like the others. and the name does seem interesting. i dont like it yet but i dont hate it. so well see how it is and hope it turns out well.

If that's the title, I really hope they don't name the new Bond title song after it. How badass could a song be when the chorus is "Quantum of Solace?"
For me, though, the real test of the effectiveness of a title is how much of a tool I feel when I ask for the tickets to see it, and so far, it's not winning me.
