Zombies Attack a Radio Station - Dead Air Trailer
February 7, 2008
by Alex Billington
I'm always mesmerized by how widespread and beloved the zombie genre still is. Every year there are countless low-budget indie zombie movies and the occasional big-budget zombie movie. It's all because of George A. Romero's original films, and it's amazing to see his work go such a long way. Dead Air is a low-budget zombie movie that I first heard of through JoBlo that's about a zombie apocalypse but experienced from inside a small radio station. The sound work here is what makes it stand out but this could also become a cult classic given the very isolated location. The main guy, Logan, played by Bill Moseley, also reminds me a lot of John Malkovich, if I must say. Zombie movie fans must check out this trailer, so fire it up already!

Dead Air is directed by long-time actor Corbin Bernsen. The script was written by newcomer Kenny Yakkel. Dead Air doesn't have a distributor yet, but is expected to be released sometime in late 2008. This film needs some love, so if you think it looks good, let all your friends know, too!

Looks bad.
Love Zombie movies but this does nothing for me.
Best Zombie movie the last couple of years has to be Fido

Hell. No. There is nothing original about this movie and when dealing with a genre that relies on originality, that is a really bad thing. The shooting style is boring, its the same music from 28 days later, the scenario is boring. Plus the trailer was just awful. It was going for horror in the first half and comedy in the second, nothing looked interesting (oh no! a fucking hand in the middle of the screen!). There are some great zombie movies, but to be good they have to be very different from their predecessors. All of them. Thats why I'm not going to spend money to see Fido. It just looks like the last 10 minutes of Shaun of the Dead dragged out over an hour and a half. Anyone agree?

I would have to agree with Ryan on this one. This looks like something I made with my buddies back in high school.

Wow, what's with all the hater comments? I think it looks nothing like the typical zombie film and that's probably why I'll go see it…

Is this based on a short story? I swear I've heard of a story with the same concept and I swear even the same title! I'm gonna Google this…back in a bit…

looks bad, but it has an As Blood Runs Black song in the trailer which is interesting. metal and zombies go hand in hand pretty well. But I wish someone would make a zombie movie that isnt apocalyptic, like just some people come back rather than everyone

Started off looking decent and well… ended up sucking. Straight to DVD!
To be honest… had enough of the Zombie flicks. I'd rather check out Shaun of the Dead again.
