Another New Trailer for Sergei Bodrov's Mongol

Mongol is an Oscar-nominated historical epic directed by Russian filmmaker Sergei Bodrov (Nomad). The film chronicles the early life of Genghis Khan, who was a slave before going on to conquer half the world in 1206. I'll admit that this latest trailer does look pretty damn entertaining, but for some odd reason I still really have no interest in this. But as always, I'm running this for all of you to see and make a judgment on your own. Mentioning that it was nominated for an Oscar should be enough to prove to you that this is no forgettable foreign film. Take a look at the new trailer and share your thoughts below.

Mongol is directed and co-written by Russian filmmaker Sergei Bodrov, of Prisoner of the Mountains, Bear's Kiss, and Nomad. This is first part in a planned trilogy about the epic, violent, and romantic life of Genghis Khan. The film arrives in limited theaters on June 6th this summer. Oh my god, i couldn't even finish that trailer.
I remember seeing another trailer a while ago and thought to myself that this is going to be one awesome movie, and i still think so.
It's just that…I dont know, i just cant stand that voice-over-guy anymore. And what's up with the music?
Such a shame.
But still a keeper.

AHHHHH… ALEX.. I want to smack you… you better get interested… this movie was AMAZING… truly AMAZING… this was the second film I saw at ShoWest on Indie Night.
Listening to Sergei speak about the film with his amusing stutter was one of my most memorable moment from this year's show… He truly put everything into this film…
I went for the imagery and full of skepticism and was completely taken by the amazing story telling and left talking to people about it for a couple hours at the bar.
If you have it hitting a big screen in your area… GO SEE IT…
Alex, this is another that I wish we could be putting one hella big review on…. cause I think I could sell you on the virtues of this film enough to go see it.

I like that this doesnt look like some over slicked up Hollywood style retelling, but the voice over is what ruins the trailer and adds the typical Hollywood cheese factor.

that shot where the army is lined up, looks straight out of "the lord of the Rings" though….imitation is the the best form of flattery, I guess! I'll definitely watch this in June

He he the voice over does seem to take away from it a little. Alex your not the only one that thinks this movie looks epic but isn't excited for it, but I'll be sure to see it when it comes my way.
